Patient Services Coordinator I - Part-Time

Department: Office/Non-Clinical

**Job Summary:**
As a Patient Services Coordinator I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and medical staff. You will handle inquiries, appointments, and registrations, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all individuals.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Process billing and insurance claims accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the healthcare team
