**Job Summary:**

**Responsibilities:**
1. Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
2. Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort.
3. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
4. Take and develop dental x-rays.
5. Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
6. Maintain accurate patient records.
7. Schedule patient appointments.
8. Perform office tasks as needed to ensure efficient and organized dental office operations.

**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.
3. X-ray certification is required.
4. CPR certification is preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
