**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in healthcare settings, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting patients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Schedule patient appointments and maintain calendars for healthcare providers.
2. Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
3. Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
4. Update patient records and ensure all information is accurate and current.
5. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure efficient patient flow.
6. Verify insurance information and collect co-payments as needed.
7. Assist with billing, coding, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Proven experience in a healthcare or customer service setting is a plus.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic medical records systems.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in the healthcare industry.
