**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a part time skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Smiles 4 Kids in Boise ! The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and perform necessary administrative tasks.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a dental assistant program is a plus
- X-ray certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner
