Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Applications Manager to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our core Practice Management applications. The ideal candidate is responsible for optimizing the functionality of operations facing IT systems and applications throughout the organization. The Business Application Manager will support business applications to design processes and support training to effectively utilize the systems in our nationally distributed pediatric dental offices. They will also troubleshoot and respond to incidents/tickets over supported systems. The Applications Manager will partner with our vendors to assist with driving Lone Peak’s long-term strategy around functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, management information systems or other related fields
  • Proven experience providing applications support within multi-unit organization
  • Knowledge of dental practices and healthcare systems. Denticon (Planet DDS) and Cloud9 experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer support and deal with escalated customer issues.
  • Problem-solving skills: Must be naturally curious and creative individual with drive to proffer solutions to problems
  • Experience managing software vendors
  • Project management experience and skill set
  • Aptitude in translating technical information into operationally effective processes
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the country


Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Functional and recognized expert over assigned business application(s) (ex. Denticon PMS, Cloud 9)
  • Maintain all Security and Setup for Applications
  • Partner with vendor to reinforce Lone Peak’s strategic goals over business application functionality including day-to-day operations
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert in the Business Applications Supported
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize the functionality of Lone Peak’s operations
  • Assist with documentation of all SOP for supported business applications
  • Partner with training function to develop and roll out training on supported business applications
  • Build communication and roll plans to support release of new features, bug fixes, and technology upgrades
  • Assist with system implementations and integrations
  • Inventory, assess and resolve tickets for the supported business applications and respond to user questions
  • Provide Level 1 support for technical outages Related to Applications
  • Maintain records and provide reporting on the operational effectiveness of the business application
  • Assist with preparation of presentations to the senior management
  • Champion new projects and gather business requirements for business cases
  • Support IT operations strategic improvement initiatives

Job Type: Full-time

Travel is Required in this Position

Pay: starting at $90,000.00
