Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant who is comfortable working with children to join our team. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality assistance to our dentists during dental procedures and performing various administrative duties in a kid-friendly environment.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Dental Assistant training program
- Valid Dental Assistant certification or license
- CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working with children of all ages

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by passing instruments, preparing materials, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Perform routine dental procedures such as taking and processing x-rays, applying fluoride and sealants, and performing cleanings
- Educate patients, particularly children, on oral hygiene and aftercare instructions
- Record and maintain patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments with parents or guardians
- Manage inventory control and order dental supplies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a dental office or clinic
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Training or experience in pediatric dentistry
