Compliance Specialist

This position will tackle things like:

  • Reviewing chart audit documentation; including including audit schedule, tracking, storage of audit documentation; relaying audit results and following up on findings.

  • Monthly review of reports looking for anomalies and outliers.

  • Coordinate quarterly inspections, review with office and correct deficiencies.

  • Revise and circulate compliance manual with necessary updates.

  • Manage OIG Exclusion list on biweekly basis for all providers.

  • Manage continuing education requirements and CE platform.

  • Facilitate and track OSHA/HIPAA training.

  • Work with L&D to develop trainings.

  • Review and maintain repository of all relevant State and Federal legislative changes.

  • Responsible for state regulatory filings.

  • Use strong research skills to solve world problems.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in dental compliance.

  • Minimum 2 years legal experience (firm or in house)

  • Thorough understanding of current dental laws and regulations; knowledge of Medicaid rules and regulations preferred.

  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including letters, memos and emails.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000-80,000
