Operations Manager

Department: Office/Non-Clinical
Location: Boise, ID

We are seeking an Operations Manager that is great with kids and can lead a staff of dedicated dental professionals! A leader who can assist in the day-to-day operations of the office and is genuinely excited about our patients and team.

Our team genuinely loves kids, so we work hard to create a safe, comfortable, and fun experience for every one that walks through our doors, including our staff! We focus on education and prevention, and we do it all in a playful space that fosters learning. Our team makes sure healthy always comes with a big dose of happy!

The ideal person for this position must have Dental experience, have an open mind, offer ideas, and ability to self-direct in a timely manner. Must be comfortable with dental insurances including Medicaid, and a complete understanding of AR.


  • Be a leader in the practice by being accessible, responsive, diplomatic, while delegating duties to the team with practice efficiency in mind
  • Partner with clinical providers to ensure comprehensive patient care through morning huddles, team meetings, etc.
  • Support and achieve business goals, revenue, and profitability objectives through a respectful, forward thinking, and motivational style.
  • Continuously assess the schedule ensuring optimum patient flow
  • Provide training and development support to ensure all team members demonstrate knowledge of the business, operating procedures, and protocols.
  • Respond to patient, clinical, and operational concerns timely and effectively.
  • On-board all team members and provide structured training
  • Openness to step into any role of the practice when needed- Lead by example
  • Ability to accurately understand Insurance (EOBís, Verifications, Submission of Claims)
  • Manage clean and accurate account receivables
  • Payroll


  • Prior Dental Management Experience Required (2+ Years)
  • Versed in Dental software- Denticon a plus
  • Previous dental assisting experience (preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task, delegate, and hold others accountable
  • Computer literacy and typing proficiency
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing including Medicaid (2+ Years)
  • Bilingual (preferred)

               Salary Range  $47,000-55,000+ Monthly bonus potential
